This book sat by my night table for several months. It was positioned at the top of my must-read pile of books #shelfdevelopment 🤷🏻♀️ It was recommended by a very good friend of mine who is my writing practice partner.
My housekeeper made the comment that because she saw it there, she acquired it, read it and loved it. That inspired me to borrow the audio version from the #browardcountylibrary as actually making time to read has been a challenge for me lately. I am SO GLAD I did.
Not only is @elizabeth_gilbert_writer engaging and fun to listen to but this book #bigmagic , has been transformative for me. I highly HIGHLY recommend it.
She reminded me of all those notes I did not take throughout my life and how precious they are but it is never NEVER too late. Also, she highlighted for me how unbelievably powerful and valuable is the art of storytelling.
Reading this book was also such a poetic way to hear that we are good enough, that nature gives to us but we also give to nature and that there is so much to create, to learn and to share.
Without a doubt an inspiring book that I will read again from time to time because inspiration is not only fuel for the soul, but fuel for ideas and for taking action. I hope YOU read it or at least listen to it.
